Role:
- To oversee students’ work within Art and Design Technology, ensuring that learning experiences offered to students are appropriate and relevant to their needs
- To continually review and develop the range of learning experiences offered to students
- To keep informed of curriculum developments relevant to the subject
- To contribute to detailed schemes of work
- To ensure students’ work is regularly assessed and progress monitored and that accurate records of progress are kept
- To contribute to devising and implementing strategies for celebrating pupil achievement
- To assist where necessary, the Head of Faculty
- To maintain a disciplined learning environment
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
- We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Art / DT
- Must be appropriately qualified – QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
- Ability to teach GCSE Art Is advantageous
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential). Training will be provided
- Suitable role for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT)

Eligibility to work in a teaching role:
- Holds Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
- Enhanced DBS with Barred List check certificate which is either on the online ‘Update Service’ or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
