Role:
- Support HOD in the teaching of Geography throughout the school
- Work with department and school leadership to support high-quality teaching and implementation of the Geography curriculum
- Maintain the teaching standards assigned
- Strong knowledge of curriculum
- Complete tasks in line with school expectations
- Exhaust all strategies, styles and initiatives to help ensure all students achieve at least expected progress
- Ensure that marking and feedback meet the expectation of the school
- Ensure homework is set in line with school expectations
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
- We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Humanities, specialising in Geography (advantageous)
- Must be appropriately qualified – QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential). Training will be provided.
- Suitable role for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT)

Eligibility to work in a teaching role:
- Holds Right to Work in the UK
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
- Enhanced DBS with Barred List check certificate which is either on the online ‘Update Service’ or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
