This is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Wiltshire. With approximately 1380 pupils this is a successful academy converter. Ofsted rated this school ‘Good’ in a recent inspection.
Role:
- To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth
- Plan for the learning needs of all students in assigned groups
- Create a positive learning environment
- Use a wide range of teaching and learning strategies that will stimulate learning
- Prepare lessons which meet the learning needs of students
- Actively contribute to events
- Contribute and respond to departmental plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of lessons, schemes of learning
Experience, Qualifications and Training:
- We seek a qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Music
- Must be appropriately qualified – QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent
- Ability to teach KS3, 4 and 5 Music (advantageous)
- Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential). Training will be provided.
- Suitable role for experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECT)

Eligibility to work in a teaching role:

- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
- Enhanced DBS with Barred List check certificate which is either on the online ‘Update Service’ or be willing to apply for a new DBS certificate
