As we are all aware teaching is a demanding role to fulfil which is one of the reasons so many teachers are turning to supply teaching. Supply teaching is the perfect way to balance time in the classroom with your own extra-curricular pursuits. It also offers flexibility and the chance to experience a variety of schools and locations without any long-term commitments.
Due to a chronic shortage of qualified secondary teachers, we are reaching out to you. No matter what your circumstances, we can make supply teaching work for you.
You might think that you cannot do supply teaching due to a lack of time you can offer, or due to the specific requirements you might have but this is probably not the case.
Here at QT Education, we have a number of teachers that have lots of different requirements! Below is just a selection of circumstances that demonstrate how we can make supply teaching work for you.
- Some teachers are looking to supplement their current role with extra supply teaching – this is very common especially when jobs are part time, but a full-time income is required.
- Some teachers only want to work 1 or 2 days on supply a week/fortnight or month – We are happy to fill the number of days you are available to work per week, fortnight, month.
- Some teachers might only want to work half days – We receive a large number of part day bookings.
- Some teachers only want to work within a certain area or within certain schools – We will have an honest conversation with you about the schools we work with in these areas and how much work you are likely to receive on this basis.
- Some teachers will only accept pre-bookings – possibly due to childcare arrangements, transport/travel needs/planning. We are happy to only offer you preorganised (before the day) bookings.
No matter what your circumstance QT Education, is here to listen to your needs and offer you work that suits your requirements. We are here to help you take control of your career within the classroom.
